Terms of use

Anyone allowed to use Discord under Discord's own terms may use kestrel. To add it to a server, you need permission to manage that server.

kestrel is free. It is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using kestrel or from kestrel not working.

kestrel acts only on accounts that post in a trap channel. We do not promise that it will catch every hacked account or stop every scam.

You are responsible for telling your members about the trap channel and what happens if they post in it. You are responsible for the actions taken on your server, including every ban, kick, and timeout kestrel carries out under the settings you choose.

Our hosting keeps standard server logs of requests to this site for security. Messages sent through the contact page are kept with the sender's email address, IP address, and device information, as the privacy policy describes. We may use those records as evidence if this site or the bot is abused.

We may change kestrel or these terms, or shut kestrel down, at any time. When these terms change, the version line at the top of this page changes with them.

A paid tier is planned but not for sale. When it exists, it will have its own terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. NetNest Design LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company.
